The problem

Right now, one client lives in five different places.

The brief is in an email. The feedback came through Slack. Your tasks sit on a Trello or Notion board that only you ever open. The files are in a shared drive, and the invoice went out from yet another app, so nobody’s quite sure if it got paid.

None of it is hard. It’s just scattered, and you’re the one holding it all together.

  • Email thread
  • Slack DM
  • Trello board
  • Notion page
  • Drive folder
  • Invoice app
  • a sticky note
  • Where are we at?You answer it by hand, every week, for every client.
  • Can you resend the file? It’s somewhere. Probably. Let me search.
  • Did my payment go through?Chasing money shouldn’t be a project of its own.

How it works

Three steps. One of them is “send a link.”

  1. Add a client

Set up a workspace with your studio’s name and colour, then add a client: a name and an email. That’s the whole setup.

  2. Send them a link

Every client gets a private magic link. They open it and they’re in. No sign-up, no password, no app to install, nothing to forget.

  3. Work in the open

Move tasks, chat, share files, send invoices. Clients see what you choose to show them, and nothing else.

What’s in the room

Everything a client asks about, in one place.

Screenshots are from the working early build, using a made-up demo studio and made-up clients.

A link, not a login

Each client opens a private page with your studio’s name on it: what’s in progress, what’s due, what they owe and the latest message. It works on a phone. There’s nothing for them to sign up for or forget.

  • Magic link per client, no client account
  • Replace a link any time, if it ever leaks
  • Branded with your studio name and colour
A client portal page headed 'Hi Priya, here's where things stand', with active projects, balance due, new messages, project progress bars and invoices.
The client’s page. They only see what you’ve shared.

Boards your clients can read

A plain To do, In progress, Done board, with no jargon to learn. You choose which tasks clients can see, so internal ones stay private. Comments can be internal too.

  • Drag cards between columns
  • “Client sees” or “private” on every task
  • Due dates, owners and comment threads
A project board titled 'Website redesign' with three columns: To do, In progress and Done. Each task is tagged either 'client sees' or 'private'.
Each task is marked as visible to the client, or private.

Chat and files, next to the work

Messages live with the project, so feedback stops getting lost between email and DMs. Share files and images with a client, and let them send things back.

  • One thread per client, tagged by project
  • Image previews, files up to 10 MB
  • Shared or private, your choice per file
A chat thread between a studio and a client, with messages tagged by project, like 'Brand refresh', and a message box at the bottom.
The client’s side of the conversation.

Invoices that don’t need chasing

Line items, tax, due dates and a clean print-to-PDF. Clients see their invoices in their portal and pay online from the invoice page. Card payments are the last piece still in testing.

  • Draft, sent, paid and overdue at a glance
  • Send by email with a pay link
  • Online card payments: in testing
An invoice page from the client's portal, with line items for a wordmark design and revision rounds, a subtotal and a total due of $3,300.
An invoice as the client sees it (demo data).

Teammates, with roles

Invite your people by email. Owners and admins run the studio. Members only see the clients they’re assigned to, and never see invoices or money.

  • Owner, Admin and Member roles
  • Assign members to specific clients
  • Invitations work once and expire
The Team page: a list of three members with Owner, Admin and Member roles, a pending invitation, and a panel explaining what each role can do.
Roles explained right where you set them.

Pricing, planned

Planned from $19/month

A flat monthly price for your whole studio, not a charge per client and not a surprise on the invoice. Start with a 14-day free trial.

Planned, not final We haven’t launched, so these numbers can still change.

Founding-member pricing

People who join the waitlist early will get a founding-member price. We’ll spell out exactly what that means before anyone pays anything. Nobody is charged by joining the list.

Questions

Things you might be wondering

Do my clients need to make an account?

No. Each client gets a private link and that’s all they need. You can replace a link any time you want to cut off the old one.

Is it ready to use?

A working early version exists and everything on this page is shown from it. It’s not open to the public yet. Online card payments and email delivery still need real-world testing, so we’ll invite small groups from the waitlist first.

When will it launch?

There’s no date yet, and we’d rather not invent one. Joining the waitlist means you’ll hear from us when it’s your turn.

What will it cost?

Planned from $19 a month with a 14-day free trial, and a founding-member price for early signups. That’s a plan, not a promise: it isn’t final until we launch, and you’ll see the exact terms before you pay.

How do online payments work?

Clients will pay invoices by card from their portal, through Stripe. How the money reaches your own account is one of the things we’re finishing and testing before launch.

I already use HoneyBook, Dubsado, Bonsai or similar. Why switch?

You might not need to. Those are solid tools and they do a lot. Loftside is aiming at something smaller: one calm room per client, quick to set up, with a flat price. If that’s not what you want, we’d genuinely like to hear why, so there’s a box for it in the form.

What do you do with my email?

We store it, along with any answers you give, so we can invite you and ask about your work. We don’t sell or share it, there are no ads or trackers on this page, and we’ll delete your entry on request. Read the privacy note.

Want a seat in the room?

Join the waitlist. You’ll get one email when it’s your turn. If you tell us what you use today, you’ll help decide what we build first.
